It looks like in the image that its from the myth narcissus and echo.I can tell that the young man in the picture is narcissus because he is admiring his reflicion instead of looking at the beautiful nymph.In the image echo is just looking at narcissus admiring him falling for him.Also in this image narcissus thinks that his refliction is real and wants himself and is obessed with the fact that he can't have himself.
